IT Internship

Davidson Oil is seeking a self-directed IT intern with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and senior leadership.

IT Intern Duties and Responsibilities

• Support IT team in maintaining hardware, software, cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management
• Assist with technical support and issue resolution
• Organize and maintain IT resources

Minimum Qualifications

• Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems major
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Familiar with Windows Active Directory and Windows 10, Office 365 admin, Networking and computer hardware troubleshooting knowledge, Mobile platforms (iOS and Android)
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in teams
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

• Frequent and/or constant sitting with occasional standing and walking
• Other physical requirements include but are not limited to lifting, carrying, pushing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and finger dexterity.
• Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, reading and visual inspection.
