Night Laborer-Fuel

Davidson Oil is looking for a "Temp to Hire' Night Laborer-Fuel to join our team. The Night Laborer team member plays a key role in Davidson Oil's fuel sales and delivery to wholesale end-users. This position involves a strong individual to work quickly and efficient fueling truck fleets.

ALWAYS Local.   ALWAYS off on weekends.

Hourly pay plus an incentive based on the number of gallons you deliver each night.

• Monday Friday (5:30pm until the fleets are complete, typically between 2-3 am)
• Fuel specialist will be the labor on the ground pulling the hoses and fueling the equipment

Will pay $7.50 per hour plus a $0.034 per gallon for all gals delivered. Average nightly gross pay range is from $130 to $170 depending on hours worked and gallons delivered. The faster you work and the more gallons you deliver the more you make per hour.

ESSENTIAL RESULTS

*DELIVER FUEL: Deliver the correct product & quantity, to the correct fleet & unit, and complete required paperwork on time, every time.

*KEEP IT CLEAN: Keep truck clean and in good working order.

*BE SAFE: Maintain a perfect safety record.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to read, speak, and write the English language
• Has working knowledge of vehicle safety and controls systems
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations with general mental abilities to handle receipts and maintain paperwork, etc.
• Ability to properly operate hand-held computers
• Follows instructions and takes directions via two-way radio, phone, or on-board computer.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to perform frequent squatting and crouching to handle, position, and secure objects
• Able to enter and exit the vehicle's cab as manas 45 days a day (cab floor level is generally from 36-66 inches above ground level, with entry and exit achieved with the assistance of various configurations of steps and hand holds)
• Able to reach for objects above, at, or below waist level.
• Able to spend majority of the shift standing and/or walking on surfaces such as concrete, wood, and metal, and occasionally on slippery and wet surfaces
• Exerting in excess of 25-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Required to have visual acuity to operate fueling equipment.
• The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
